What Drives Us
We’re driven by our vision and mission to take the hassle out of site access while ensuring safety — and preserving the environment. Inspired by our history, we’re committed to our customers and our team.
Our vision is to foster harmony between the environment and construction, with world-class site access solutions. This inspires our mission: Sterling provides environmentally favorable access solutions to energy infrastructure by embracing a culture where thoughtfulness and sincerity allow our 4 Cs — company, colleagues, customers, and communities — to thrive.
Sterling has been family-run and customer-driven ever since our 1949 founding by Gerhard Sterling. Throughout our journey of entrepreneurship, customer service, philanthropy, and community, we have embraced the diversity of thought, personality, and interests among our employees to build a place they are proud to work. Community is more powerful and effective when people are empowered to flourish — and we have built a place where our employees can do their best work to serve our customers.
Supplier Diversity
We support a more diverse, inclusive, innovative culture –starting with our workforce and extending throughout every aspect of our business. Our supplier diversity program plays an important role in in this strategy by connecting us to small and minority-owned businesses. We are actively building a base of suppliers to reflect our company values and give diverse firms the opportunity to grow with us.
