Levi Frost
Vice President, Construction Services

Motto: “Put the pain where the problem is.”

Levi Frost holds an Associate Degree in Architecture from Western Technical College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. His passion for construction began early, working summer jobs on construction crews. After high school, he launched his own construction business focused on light commercial and agricultural projects while pursuing his college degrees. During this period, he had the opportunity to join a national construction firm specializing in post-frame structures, where his success as a branch manager led to a regional management role overseeing operations across nine offices in multiple states.

In 2014, Levi connected with Sterling through a professional contact. He began as a Project Manager/Salesman and swiftly advanced to General Manager before assuming the role of Director of Operational Excellence. His notable achievements at Sterling include the creation and oversight of Sterling Equipment Leasing and supporting the development of structures for both Midwest Access Solutions and Sterling Access Solutions. Additionally, his work has involved structural project development and the design and implementation of the TerraCross Bridge and the Clean Exit Mats, contributing significantly to product development over the years. Levi’s extensive construction experience and deep understanding of Sterling’s framework have positioned him as a valuable contributor to the company in his current role as Vice President of Construction Services.

Levi describes his management style as steady, consistent, and characterized by clarity. Transparency is a fundamental principle in his approach, ensuring that individuals know what to expect and are treated equitably and with respect. He prioritizes clear communication of goals and expectations to foster alignment and collaboration among team members. When addressing challenges, he emphasizes identifying and resolving the root cause rather than merely treating symptoms. This philosophy is encapsulated in his belief in “putting the pain where the problem is,” a principle he uses to advocate for targeted problem-solving.

What attracted Levi to Sterling was its strong entrepreneurial spirit, which fosters an environment where individuals are empowered to act with autonomy and integrity. The company’s culture prioritizes open communication and encourages every member, regardless of their position, to contribute ideas and think critically. This approach cultivates a sense of ownership and accountability throughout the organization. The success of Sterling reflects the dedication of its team, who are deeply invested in the company’s shared goals and values. For Levi, Sterling is more than just a job; it is a collaborative endeavor driven by a sense of belonging and commitment akin to that of a family-owned enterprise.
