Sterling utilizes resources with a focus on sustainability, prioritizing environmentally responsible methods to handle the production material off cuts and access mats when they reach end of useful life. The majority of our excess is processed into mulch for local communities and landscapers or used to produce renewable energy at Waste to Energy power plants. Larger pieces are used by partners in the local woodworking community. We are now offering our surplus material to new customers for these and other uses.
